Memory Picture Cell Phone for Seniors

EASY TO USE MEMORY PHONE w/ THE BENEFITS OF A MOBILE DEVICE

Designed for ease-of-use and set-up in minutes.

The one-touch dial picture phone is relentless in its focus on simplicity. It consists of one primary screen, and one screen only. The screen includes 3 elements: Pictures and names of up to 50 contacts; A button to call 911; Time and battery power. There are no applications or settings to cause confusion. No notifications or operating system updates. No voicemail. No distractions. Simply tap the picture of the person you wish to call. That’s it.

Memory Picture Cell Phone for Seniors
REMOTE MANAGE - ACCESS SETTINGS AND CONTACTS REMOTELY

Remote Manage provides caregivers the unprecedented ability to remotely manage ALL aspects of their senior’s cell phone through a simple app (iPhone & Android) or online portal. The app and/or portal are used by the caregiver to create and edit contacts, send the senior reminders, set up hours during which the senior cannot place calls, track the location of the phone/user, check the phone’s battery power or signal strength, select certain options, such as the option to disable the power button or restrict incoming calls to contacts, preventing unwanted predatory robocalls, and much more. Remote Manage can be used by caregivers from anywhere in the United States or Canada; changes made with Remote Manage are reflected on the RAZ Memory Cell Phone right away.

Memory Picture Cell Phone for Seniors Protective Case
OPTIONAL PROTECTIVE CASES

Help protect your RAZ Memory Cell Phone with a protective case. Choose from our standard polycarbonate shock-proof bumper case that protects the phone from drops and scratches, or our stylish and slim-wallet case. Available in black and orange leatherette which will cover the display and help avoid accidental dials. If you add-on our wireless charging pad, your phone will come with a special protective case that is already installed!

Memory Picture Cell Phone for Seniors with Emergency Services
ADDED EMERGENCY SERVICE - OPTIONAL SCREENING OF 911 CALLS

Imagined or false emergencies and repetitive 911 calling is all too common for people with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. RAZ now offers an Emergency Service which directs emergency calls to an emergency dispatch agent rather than 911. The service agent will know that the caller has memory loss and will determine whether to contact 911 guided by this knowledge. Also, text messages will be sent to designated caregivers (up to 3), providing caregivers the opportunity to cancel the emergency call so that 911 is not contacted. This service is optional and can be added once you receive and set up your phone for less than $10/month.

Memory Picture Cell Phone for Seniors Extra Long Cord
OPTIONAL 6' CHARGING CORD

Add an extra-long, 6 foot cord to your RAZ Memory Cell Phone order to ensure your phone always has power. This optional cord is 2-3x the length of a standard cord which can make the phone easier to place near the bed or to a favorite chair. A must-have accessory to extend the reach while keeping the device connected!

Memory Picture Cell Phone for Seniors Wireless Charging Pad
OPTIONAL WIRELESS CHARGING PAD & CASE

Charge your RAZ Memory Cell Phone wirelessly. This add-on allows you to easily charge the phone by simply laying it onto the charging pad. No need to struggle connecting the cable to the phone. Includes: Special wireless charging adapter, Wireless charging pad, & Protective case. The adapter and protective case are pre-installed on the phone when ordered through us. This option includes a case so no need to order an add-odd accessory case!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I activate this phone on Verizon or AT&T?

Yes. This version of the RAZ Memory Cell Phone is unlocked and compatible with ALL wireless providers including Verizon, AT&T, Consumer Wireless, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Mint Mobile, Straight Talk, Red Pocket Mobile, and TracFone & more. It is also compatible with Canadian providers.

Can I restrict incoming calls?

Yes. The portal app for the phone includes a setting allowing you to limit incoming calls to only the contacts and/or a whitelist entered into the phone.

Can I add more than six contacts?

Yes! The RAZ Phone now allows up to 50 contacts, but the default is 6. Having 6 contacts or less will ensure there is only a single screen on the phone so the end user does not have to scroll through multiple screens.

Can the 911 button be disabled?

No, but there are options. By law in the US 911 service cannot be disabled or blocked on cell phones. The 911 button does require a long-press to use, so most people with dementia or similar conditions will be less likely to accidentally call emergency services. If your loved-one repetitively calls 911 for false or imagined emergencies, an optional Emergency Call Service is available to help screen 911 calls once the phone is activated and set up. This service has multiple plans all under $10/mo. With RAZ Text Alert set up, caregivers can respond more quickly to your senior’s emergencies. When your senior calls 911, receive a text message alerting you to the call. Up to 3 people can receive the 911 text message alert. The RAZ Alert service is available even if you do not subscribe to the RAZ Emergency Service, and is available at no additional cost through the RAZ Care app.

Can I track the RAZ Phone remotely?

Yes. By going to the “GPS Location” button on the portal app, you can track the location of the phone.

Can the RAZ Phone send text messages? Is there voicemail?

No & Yes. The phone is designed to be as simple-to-use as possible, and not including these features was part of that original design philosophy. Voicemail has recently been added as an optional feature that can be turned off and on.

Is there a speakerphone option?

Yes. This new feature is controlled from the caregiver portal so that there are no mistakes. The speakerphone option can be set to either on or off - when it's on, the volume is set to the maximum so it's perfect for those with hearing loss or for those who cannot easily lift the phone to their ear.

5 of 5 Senior cell phone December 16, 2024
Reviewer: Sharryl Thurley from Wautoma, WI United States
This phone was the best idea I have ever found for my Dad. He is so happy he can easily call us, my Aunt Shelia in New York and have our voices talking to him.  The phone is so easy to call his friends and family.  It takes alittle away from my loneliness to have my Dad home. I'm so excited we can talk, laugh, and hear my Dad's voice. This dementia disease is slowly taking my Dad away from us and it is a blessing to hear his voice every day, night, and anywhere I am. He's so much less worried about us. The best thing in our lives today.

The ease of shopping on your website makes looking for the right item to help our loved one in the early stages of Alzheimer's easier for us(and we all know how hard it is to have anything easy about Alzheimer's). We greatly appreciate the experience and creativity put into your products.

5 of 5 Excellent phone for cognitive issues December 2, 2024
Reviewer: Dunichick from Shelby Township, MI United States
Got this to move Mom to Assisted Living.  No scam calls as I can limit calls to her contact list.  I control her contact list.  All settings are in app on my phone.  I see ingoing/outgoing call log.  Layout of the screen makes it easy for her to make phone calls.  I pick what shows on the header...charge, date, time, day, etc.   Negatives.....1. Short battery life.
2. Screen never totally turns off.  When in 'standby', there's a very faint glow.
3. Disabling the 'power off' button on the phone (my mother would never turn the phone on) is not part of the app.  You call customer service to have them disable it, then you can't power off the phone without calling them back.
4.  You can't turn the screen off; you have to let the timeout (2 min - can't change length) time out.  If you touch the phone during that 2 minutes, it starts over (battery drain).
Even given those negatives, this phone has been a load off my mine for me and well worth the money.

5 of 5 Raz phone and Idem Clock November 13, 2024
Reviewer: Maria Mud from Fort Lauderdale, FL United States
These devices are incredible! I have an aunt with moderate dementia. Her iPhone became too complicated for her to use, and we often could not reach her. Since the family lives out of town, we need to be able to communicate with her. The Raz phone is easily operated by my aunt. I control all aspects of this phone to ensure it meets her needs. We are now able to bet a hold of her on a phone. The Idem clock is also amazing. I can send my aunt instant reminders to charge her phone, call me, and let her know when I will return. These tools are essential to effectively manage a dementia relative from afar.
