More importantly, the simple design and clarity on the clockface helps our elder family member orient herself in place and time. We bought two for the two major places she spends time in. But, just now, we noticed that when she watches television, she also benefits from having this clock available, so we just bought a third one. HIGHLY  RECOMMENDED.
