Doll was marketed as an ideal gift for adults w/Alzheimer’s. Package wording on the box, the doll comes in, boasts about being a play doll for toddlers. Adults with Alzheimer’s can still read!! If you are marketing toward a targeted group, the packaging should reflect the same. Otherwise, doll was as expected.

"Thank you for your review and feedback. I wanted to reach out just to explain the thought behind our products. There are few products made specifically for adults with dementia. For those few products, we avoid those that actually say Alzheimer's or Dementia on them. For as we know, most end users can read, and we do not want to offend or alarm them. Many of the products we sell are children's products, but they were hand selected for their benefits to aging adults. For example, for their weight, durability or quality. We suggest offering gifts to those with dementia, especially animals and dolls, without their packing. First, the packaging can be confusing, second, many folks believe the animal or doll is real. When it comes in a box, they can become frightened or think its a toy rather than a comforting companion." We hope this helps! - The Alzheimer's Store
