Favorite Things is a series of DVDs created for the enjoyment of those with dementia, their caregivers and family in order to provide comfort and inspire connections and conversation through reminiscence. Through reminiscence we find comfort in our favorite things and form connections with people and the past. The Seasons DVD Collection contains a DVD for each of the four seasons with five separate videos on each of the four DVDs. Soothing and happy background music provides comfort and brings joy to your environment.
Use the simple graphic menus on your DVD player or can be played on a computer using its DVD player. If used on a touch screen capable computer the menu buttons are responsive to touch. The slideshows on this DVD include not only colorful photographs, but also video clips all of which are enhanced with background music with the option to mute.

Also available with each set are companion photo cards which include activity options, Q&A, trivia, and conversation starting ideas. These cards go hand in hand with the DVDs providing cues for caregivers so that they can preface a photo card with questions or plan where to stop within a slide show for an activity, share trivia/fun facts or participate in a game. The cards are high quality, water resistant large playing cards measuring 3.5 x 5.75" each and are housed in a plastic snap case that coordinates the color to the DVDs.
